Teijin Monofilament supplies a wide range of high-performance monofilaments made out of various polymers. With diameters ranging from 0.055 to 2.00 mm as well as profiled monofilaments, it offers diverse technologies with tailored technological textile characteristics. Teijin's monofilaments are based on melt-spun polymers such as PET, PBT, PA, PPS and PEN with different viscosities. They are supplied on flanged spools or cops with weights of 1-20kg and packed in large boxes on pallets.

Teijin Monofilament's extensive range of products is augmented by the following specialties:

• Ultrafine polyester monofilaments with diameters ranging from 0.031 mm (dtex 10 f 1) to 0.055 mm (dtex 33 f 1)
• Addition of special polymers or additives for high-performance characteristics e.g. to make filaments hydrolysis-resistant, abrasion-resistant, fluorescent, fire-retardant, UV-stable, or to improve their cleaning properties, etc.
• Use of spun-dyed raw materials or addition of color masterbatches
• Special preparation of monofilaments for optimal further-processing characteristics
• Bicomponent monofilaments
• transfer tare on request
