Welcome to Spartanburg
Teijin Monofilament US is located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, at the heart of the nation's fiber-producing region. Originally established in 1969 as part of Hoechst in Delaware, Spartanburg has been a member of the globally active Teijin Group since 2001. The plant has been producing high-quality products for paper machine clothing and other industrial textiles now for nearly four decades.
Employing about 110 people, the Spartanburg site manufactures a wide range of outstanding industrial monofilaments. The plant mainly serves the North and South American markets.
Spartanburg's production includes monofilaments made out of polyester (including a variety of blends), PPS, PA6, PA6.6, PAP6.10, PP and other polymers with diameters ranging from 0.10 mm to 1.20mm. In addition to round and profiled cross sections, the Spartanburg plant also produces bicomponent monofilaments.
